A laboratory course accompanying PHY 2214. A rigorous calculus-based physics course emphasizing mechanics, heat and wave motion. Designed for pre-engineers, computer science and physical science majors. Lecture/Laboratory One laboratory period each week. Lab Fee: $80. Note: A student cannot receive credit for both PHY 1114 and PHY 2214.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 1195 or concurrent enrollment.
Corequisite(s): PHY 2214.
