Curriculum and Instruction Concentration (33 Credits)
The Master of Science in Education/Curriculum and Instruction degree will include the following courses:
Total: 33 credits
Persons wishing to pursue the Master of Science in Education degree at Southwest Baptist University should complete the process of admission to the graduate program as a classified degree-seeking student prior to the completion of 9 credits at SBU.
Teacher Leadership Concentration (36 Credits)
The Master of Science in Education/Teacher Leadership degree will include the following courses:
Total: 36 credits
Persons wishing to pursue the Master of Science in Education degree at Southwest Baptist University should complete the process of admission to the graduate program as a classified degree-seeking student prior to the completion of 9 credit hours at SBU.
Instructional Technology Leadership Concentration (33 Credits)
Total: 33 credits
Persons wishing to pursue the Master of Science in Education degree at Southwest Baptist University should complete the process of admission to the graduate program as a classified degree-seeking student prior to the completion of 9 credit hours at SBU.
Literacy Concentration (33 Credits)
The Master of Science in Education/Literacy degree will include the following courses:
Special K-12 Certification
A student seeking the Literacy Concentration may also seek a Special K-12 Reading Certificate. Below are a student’s extra requirements beyond the Literacy Concentration to be eligible for the State of Missouri Special K-12 Reading Certificate.
- Must have 2 years of successful classroom teaching experience
Athletic-Activity Director Concentration (34 Credits)
The Master of Science in Education - Athletic-Activity Director degree will include the following courses:
