NUR 1023 - Pharmacology for Nursing Practice

Contact hours: 45 hrs. classroom. This course introduces the student to the principles of safe medication administration using clinical reasoning. Content will focus on drug classifications and prototypes, adverse effects, patient education, and nursing priorities related to medication administration for patients across the lifespan.
Prerequisite(s): NUR 1017  or NRS 3117 .
