CIS 5783 - Disaster Recovery Management and Cyber Resilience Credits: 3 This course teaches students how to create and implement effective disaster recovery plans for organizations. It covers best practices for protecting information assets and ensuring business continuity during disruptions. Students learn to assess risks, analyze business impacts, and develop comprehensive recovery strategies. The course emphasizes practical skills in designing organization-wide information assurance initiatives and implementing Information Assurance Management Programs. Through hands-on projects and case studies, students gain experience in preparing organizations to respond to and recover from various types of disasters, both natural and man-made. By the end of the course, participants will be able to lead disaster recovery efforts that align with organizational needs and industry standards.
