The following program requirements satisfy the A.S. Core Curriculum :

BIO 2213 - Introduction to Microbiology (Math or Science)
PSY 1013 - General Psychology (Social or Behavioral Science)

Bridge Program

Students accepted in the bridge programs must complete the Core Curriculum requirements above in addition to the program core requirements listed below:

LPN/Paramedic Bridge, A.S.N. (62 Credits)

LPN/Paramedic Bridge Core (21-22 Credits)

Students will take the appropriate initial bridge course depending on their credentials.

BSN Concentration (28 credits)

In addition to meeting the university’s general admission requirements, applicants to the BSN concentration must fulfill additional specific criteria for admission.

Other Program Requirements

LPN bridge students transfer 15 credits of NUR courses into the ASN program to meet the 36 credits of required NUR courses.
Paramedic bridge students transfer 14 credits of NUR courses into the ASN program to meet the 36 credits of required NUR courses
2.5 program or cumulative GPA prior to beginning the ASN program
C or greater in all program required courses (BIO 2204 , BIO 3304 , BIO 2213 ) prior to beginning the ASN program
2.50 program or cumulative GPA to progress in program
C or greater in all NUR courses to progress in program
