PTH 7533 - Sports Physical Therapy

Prepares the student for a career as sports physical therapist. Issues related to the sports epidemiology, care, prevention and emergency management of sports related injuries as well as effective venue management will be presented. Other elements will be designing and implementing strategies to enhance human performance based in sound physiological principles and issues related to appropriate counseling and education.
Prerequisite(s): PTH 6255.
