LDR 5133 - Emotional Intelligence

This course will introduce students to emotional intelligence as a skill that can be developed with training and practice. Students will learn to engage the style of individuals and adjust their
communications accordingly. This course will focus on the core competencies of emotional intelligence, including self-management, self-awareness, self-regulation, self-motivation
and empathy. Students will learn to develop and implement these competencies to enhance their personal, professional and ministry relationships by increasing their understanding of social and emotional behaviors, and adapting and managing their responses to various situations.
